Festival Live released!
I managed to get through the final stages of dev a lot faster than I thought I would when I wrote my postmortem for Battle Live's anniversary, so Festival Live is here! Ironic how it's out just two days after the anniversary heh.
With this game it marks not only my fifth game - which is a huge accomplishment in itself - but also the finale of the Battle Live series (which you can see all together here.) Working on these games has taught me a lot about working with Renpy, how fast I work, what helps me make the best art I can while also completing these projects, etc etc. These short games were fun to work on and I'm thankful to my friends and the people that have followed this series since Battle Live, or even the ones that joined up later thanks to the other games (I'm looking at you Vday/White Day Live fans).
While there won't be anymore Batlive games in the future, I will still be working on these for a bit - I'm predicting about ½ a year to a year with my current idea. That idea is going back through the BatLive games and doing some touch ups, such as: fixing dialogue + pacing, fixing wonky artwork or parts that I forgot to draw (like how I forgot Kyo's piercings in Vday/White Day Live), cleaning up my messy code (dear god), and adding bonus content that I didn't get to add before its initial release! I hope you all look forward to it!
This will all happen before I start working on my next game idea, which I have a pretty good idea of what it's going to be, but I can tell you right now that my future game ideas are gonna be a bit longer than the BatLive games were.
Anyways, thanks for reading this wall of text and for checking out my games if you have!
See ya~!
